The lamela separators separate light liquids (e.g. oil, petrol) and sand from water, which flows due to gravity, in the rainwater sewage system before allowing it into receiving waterways (sewer, river, lake, sea). The light pollutants are liquids of density a bit less than water (up to 0.95 g/cm3) that either do not occur in natural waters, or occur in insignificant quantities. The impurities are separated from the horizontal flow of the polluted waters through especially constructed lamela sections (shutters) using flotation and sedimentation effects.

Meeting the demand for protection of the especially important receiving waterways and the international demand for high efficiency separators, Ecol developed a new series of high efficiency coalescence separator ESK. By implementing the innovative construction solutions (improving i.e. coalescence effect) characterizes in a very high separation degree of light liquids from the rainwater and/or technological wastewater.

The grease separators EST are used to separate the organic fats/oil from sewage during flotation. These devices are applied in the case of typical sanitary sewages, e.g. restaurants, kitchens, bars.

For suspended-matter reduction Ecol is offering swirl settlers OW.
They are characterized by a very small surface area compared to pre-purifying flows. They guarantee efficient purification and simultaneously allow for the possibility for the flows to become much bigger than analyzed without raising deposits.
The solution can be integrated with an oil-derivative compounds clarifier.
The centrifuges are cheap to operate and, thanks to reinforced concrete construction, they usually do not need additional support.
